About Us

We first visited Puglia in the summer of 2005 and quickly fell in love with the area and people. Everyone was so friendly, and when we bought a small apartment in the centre of Alberobello, could not do enough for us.

Every evening the locals "passeggiata" in the town before and after their evening meals. Entire families are out and about until the small hours with children playing in the street while their parents meet up and chat with their friends.

There is never any trouble, drunkenness or bad behaviour -always a perfect evening. With the friendliness that everyone has shown us, how could we not want to live there permanently?

Our long term plans were to visit the region for a few years and eventually find another property that we could rent to friends and family and eventually retire to. Whilst visiting a local estate agent to collect our keys we naively started looking at an advertised property. After visiting the trullo, many "wow's", and 8 months later and at least 5 years ahead of schedule we were the proud owners of the Trullo.

We started to implement the improvements that we planned to the trullo on our holidays throughout 2007, however work was fairly slow and our vacations not very relaxing. Therefore late in 2007 we made the decision to leave England and move to Italy to complete all the work.

We are extremely excited to be living our dream so soon.
